Note that we only act as an intermediary party between the clients and the handymen. Before using our services, you are advised to read and understand these terms and conditions to avoid any inconvenience. Account Registration To use our platform, you will be asked to create a customer account. Both the customers and the vendors need to register their account by providing accurate details. These details include, but are not limited to, first name, last name, email address, phone number, address, along with a unique username and password. Note that the account details are strictly confidential, and you are not allowed to share these with anyone else. We take no responsibility for any unauthorized use of your account in any case. AnyWorkman also reserves the right to verify the customer information. Legal Age Customers under the age of 18 are not allowed to create an account at AnyWorkman. General Terms Regarding AnyWorkman Services AnyWorkman allows the customers to post any job related to the services offered by the handymen on our platform. Customers can change or edit the tasks before any handyman gets the job. We reserve the right to cancel any posted job at any time without any prior notification. Once the two parties agree to a Task, a contract is created between the two which is legally-binding, and it must be followed in order for us to release payments on the completion of the Task. The contract contents can be modified if both parties agree to change any clause. Note that the job is marked as complete only when the customer rates the handyman, therefore, the customers and the vendors must make sure no order is left un-reviewed. We reserve the right to introduce new features at any time without any prior notification. Privacy Policy AnyWorkman collects different personal and non-personally identifying data from customers through different means including, but not limited to, the use of tracking technologies and analytical tools. The data is collected, stored and used in line with the privacy policy statement set forth here. Website Usage Unauthorized use of website i.e. for any purpose other than service requests can result in termination of the account. We reserve the right to moderate the use of our website to ensure the safety of our customers, both the vendor and the customer. Use of indecent language, in the comments, feedback forms or ratings, will result in suspension or termination of the account and the decision of the company will be considered final. Payments AnyWorkman is an online marketplace for vendors and customers in need of their services. We connect the customers looking for experts in different fields with the best-suited handymen. Therefore, we charge a certain fee for the smooth service delivery, which is automatically deducted from customer’s account following order placement. The fee may vary from time to time as deemed fit by the company, however, the customers will be notified of the change through their account or via email. For placing an order on our platform, you are required to submit your valid payment details including, but not limited to, credit card number, email address, shipping and billing address etc. If you wish to secure the services of a handyman, you will have to transfer the payment to AnyWorkman through your account. The amount is kept in an Escrow account and if both the parties show enough evidence that the Task has been done successfully, the payment is transferred to the handyman. The payment is cleared within 14 days after it is transferred to the handyman’s account. Any changes to the fee will also come into effect 14 days after the announcement. Providing fraudulent details can get your account suspended. Note that we use third-party payment gateways, therefore, we do not take any responsibility for any mishap. However, you are advised to inform us of any such activity so that we can get it resolved at the earliest. Note that any monetary transaction other than through our website will result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account, however the company deems fit. Refunds If the customer and the vendor mutually agree to cancel the order, full payment will be returned to the customer along with AnyWorkman’s fee. This extra fee will be debited from the account of the vendor. If a customer wishes to report a dispute, he or she must do so within the first 24 hours of payment transfer. Otherwise, we will not be liable to refund the amount. Disputes and Complaints Any disputes arising between the two parties arising out of the use of our platform will be resolved amicably and fairly, however, we cannot guarantee that the outcome of our efforts will be in your favour.
